Align Sports Partners was founded on a simple belief: the most powerful partnerships happen when strategy and passion are fully aligned.

After nearly two decades leading marketing, sponsorship, and partnership initiatives at the highest levels of sports and consumer brands, Lisa Woodward launched Align Sports Partners to offer a more focused, strategic alternative to traditional agency models. The firm works selectively with teams, leagues, and brands to cut through complexity and deliver smarter, more effective approaches to sponsorships, partnerships, and fan engagement.

Lisa is a seasoned marketing and partnerships executive with deep experience shaping brand strategy, building high-impact sponsorship portfolios, and leading cross-functional teams. Most recently, she served as Director of Sponsorships and Experiential at Anheuser-Busch, where she led national sponsorship strategy and oversaw negotiations across a portfolio of iconic beer brands. Her work helped define the company’s presence across sports, music, and cultural platforms through high-profile partnerships and experiential activations.

She began her career with the St. Louis Rams, rising to Director of Marketing and Advertising, where she led regional campaigns and brand strategy for the organization.

In addition to her advisory work, Lisa teaches sport management at McKendree University, bringing real-world industry insight into the classroom and helping shape the next generation of sports business leaders.

A respected industry and community leader, Lisa serves on the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities, has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America since 2009, and is Vice President of the Saint Louis University John Cook School of Business Alumni Board. She is also an alum of the Business of Diversity in Sports and Entertainment program and has contributed to the National Sports Forum Steering Committee since 2016.

Lisa holds a business administration degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Saint Louis University. She lives outside St. Louis with her husband, Rob, and their three sons.
